Missionvale - South Africa 2017
5th year students, Enda Meaney and Seamus Casey, were part of a group of 43 volunteers who travelled to Misssionvale, South Africa, on January 21st 2017. The volunteers worked on the building of a fence around the Missionvale Care Centre during the week as well as on a water project and they had the experience of helping in the school, in the Nutrition Centre and in the Clothing warehouse. Seamus and Enda also had the opportunity to visit the township where the people of Missionvale live. Sr. Ethel has brought much hope to the people of Missionvale with her tremendous work throughout the years.
National Spring Clean
2nd years in association with An Taisce, Green schools and Kildysart Tidy Towns recently took part in National Spring Clean in the areas surrounding the school. This was also part of 2nd year (Rang Oisín) CSPE action project. Thanks to everyone for taking part.

On the 24th of January 2015, 5th year students Alan Cunningham and Conor Donnellan and Vice-Principal Deirdre Convey departed Shannon Airport for the Missionvale township in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. On Clare FM, Alan Cunningham spoke live from South Africa about his experience in the Missionvale township. They spent a week supporting the amazing work done by Sr. Ethel Normoyle and also had the opportunity to visit Cape Town and a National Park.
